The Global education & Management Studies Co-op.Ltd.(GEMS) No.M 782, P.O. Ramapuram is formed under Co-operative Societies Act with the objective of eliminating the educational backwardness of Malappuram District in general and Mankada Assembly Constituency in particular by providing quality higher education affordable. It is an endeavor of the society to provide world class higher education in the emerging new generation areas by making use of the advanced technologies and strategies in education and thereby equip the students to face the challenges in life and to prepare them for the highly competitive job market.
GEMS Arts and Science College, the first institution under GEMS started in the academic year 2008-09, has now grown into an outstanding institution with 10 degree courses and with superb infrastructural facilities. GEMS institute of professional management (GEMS-IPM), the second institution under GEMS, provides skill upgradation short term courses for the youth seeking employment abroad. GEMS, the embodiment of the dream of a people striving for quality higher education, will make its mark in the field in coming years.
